Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Joystack platform, requesting a project quote, or engaging our engineering team for full-stack and mobile development services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our infrastructure.

2. Scope of Architecture & Services

Joystack provides direct engineering consultation, cross-platform mobile development (Flutter), and backend API architecture (Django, Go, Node.js). All projects are executed under dedicated technical oversight to meet specific scope requirements agreed upon in individual Statement of Work (SOW) blueprints.

3. Client Responsibilities & Git Access

Clients are responsible for maintaining secure access controls to their respective code repositories. Where Joystack requires OAuth-backed Git permissions to facilitate deployments, we only access designated target branches. Clients retain sole responsibility for their master access credentials and private environment variables.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless explicitly outlined otherwise in a signed contract, all source code, architecture models, and digital products remain the intellectual property of the client upon full receipt of mutually agreed financial milestones. Core boilerplate code, pre-existing developer packages, and serverless architectural components remain the property of Joystack.

5. Service Disruption & Liability

While we optimize deployments for global edge infrastructure (such as Cloudflare Pages), Joystack is not liable for upstream service provider downtime, hosting failures, third-party database stalls, or loss of application traffic due to edge network distribution errors.
